Parties involved in fashion production development used to search for information from the internet or old fashion magazines, making fashion product development time-consuming and inefficient. The industry lacks an intelligent, automatic, direct and easy-to-use system for generating new fashion images to support fashion design.
Established in 2006, The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) is funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission of the HKSAR government, and hosted by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
