Problem addressed

Clean drinking water supplies are considered a major public health concern, and waterborne diseases are still the leading cause of death. WHO reported diarrheal disease from unsafe water kills 1.5 million children each year and causes two billion cases of illness. However, current water disinfection technology often utilises toxic chemicals and UV to kill pathgens, and such technologies are also harmful to human.
