Aniline compounds are a group of toxic and mutagenic compounds. They are found in effluent discharge despite of the implementation of regulations on their disposal. This project aims to bio-degrade and decolorize aniline compounds by enhancing textile dyeing sewage treatment.
Aniline is a predominate intermediate for dyeing. It is commonly found in textile sewage that causes water pollution and imposing a threat to the marine ecosystem after aniline compounds are discharged in rivers. An eco-friendly and applicable wastewater treatment method to remove aniline compounds is crucial for the textile industry.
