The smart tree monitoring system captures the tilting angles and direction of tree displacement using smart sensing technology. It also sends out alerts and alarms to the stakeholders based on the dynamic thresholds. All these are achieved by a combination of the state-of-the-art IoT sensors, data analytics and an interactive dashboard.
Regular on-site tree inspections require a lot of manpower and time, which usually take place once or twice a year. With the Smart Tree Monitoring System, trees can now be monitored in a much more efficient way, helping arborists and tree managers make informed decisions and aiding urban tree management.
