Ultrafast 2D Scanning with Spatio-temporally Incremental Fiber Swept Source (STIFSS)

Traditional swept source for flow cytometers using wavelength sweeping can only provide peak power up to mW level and framerate at kHz level. These traditional optical sources do not contain spatial information, it requires the help of mechanical or electronic scanning units to perform 2D imaging which limited the scanning speed.
